With a couple months left until the preseason kicks off, we football addicts need to get our fix any way we can. That’s why it’s easy to get really excited about The Richard Sherman Celebrity Softball Game coming up. 

Not only are many of our favorite Seahawks players going to be playing, but there are a few additions that make this one of the most epic offseason events in recent memory. 

The celebrity softball additions have been leaking out via the events Facebook page and includes the entire Legion of Boom along with John Moffitt, Sidney Rice and the biggest offseason addition to the Seahawks: Percy Harvin. 

It would be great if it ended there, but also scheduled to appear are: Terrell Owens and the referee who called the Golden Tate touchdown catch against Green Bay will be calling the game.  

Saving the best (and completely unconfirmed at the moment of typing this) is that the offer has been made to allow four Military Sea Hawkers to also be a part of the game.  Check out this post on Facebook and hopefully we will hear soon if this is something that is really going to happen.

Even if it doesn’t materialize, this game has the potential to be a highlight of the offseason. Post a note on the blog if you’re thinking about attending and maybe we can get a group together either before or following the game.
