Photos from the Seahawks win over the Vikings

Here is a selection of photos from the Seahawks game against the Vikings on Sunday. Seattle goes to 5-4 on the season, which puts them in position for the final playoff spot if the season were to end today.  The Seahawks play at home four of their final seven games, including three meetings in December against their division rivals.

Leon Washington continued his pregame ritual of giving Military Sea Hawkers President Traci Williams a big hug before kickoff.

Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Jeff Martin reenlisted in the south end zone prior to kickoff.

The Military Sea Hawkers Color Guard continued to represent all of the military services during the performance of our national anthem.

The Minnesota Vikings got out to a quick 7-0 lead thanks to Adrian Peterson. Peterson rushed three times for 80 yards and a touchdown to start the game.

Marshawn Lynch continued with his dominant season as well, rushing 26 times for 124 yards.

Second-year safety Jeron Johnson picked up his first NFL sack.

With the game tied 14-14, Golden Tate made the Vikings miss multiple tackles and jumped into the end zone. A missed PAT game the Seahawks a 20-14 halftime lead.

After the half, the Seahawks started to put the game out of reach when Lynch punched the ball across the goal line in the third quarter to put Seattle up 27-17.

Left tackle Russell Okung kept Jared Allen in check throughout the game. Minnesota sacked Russell Wilson only once late in the fourth quarter.

Russell Wilson had one of his best games of the season, throwing three touchdown passes and finishing with a quarterback rating of 127.3.

After the game, Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman comes over to give some love to Soldiers in the stands.
