If you’re going to be at the game, the Seahawks invite fans to wear blue in honor of the team’s home opener versus the Cowboys at CenturyLink Field. Kickoff is set for 1:05 p.m. The game will be televised on Q13 FOX (KCPQ-Ch.13) and broadcast on 710 ESPN Radio and 97.3 FM in Seattle.
If you’re looking for tickets to a Seahawks game this year, your opportunities are running out. I called around to the ticket offices in the surrounding area and all of them are sold out with the exception of the games against the Cardinals and Rams.
For these first few games of the season, tickets are going for more than three times face value online. It’s great to see fans excited about what the team will do this year and excited about the future. I’m a bit bummed that I’m going to miss the home opener in person for the first time in a few years, but I’ll be cheering just as loud from my couch!
GO SEAHAWKS!!!

military sea Hawkers site over 500 members
Thank you to all of our newest members who have joined the site for becoming part of the club and for helping us continue to grow. Thanks to those of you who continue to be members and for those of you who have sent notes thanking me.
As much as I appreciate the kind words, those of you serving deserve all of the gratitude. With the 11th anniversary of Sept. 11 this last week, it was a reminder of why many of you signed up to serve our country. I know I feel much safer at home knowing there are so many great men and women serving overseas.
Thank you to the Seahawks and the Sea Hawkers Central Council for the support they’ve given our group. If you haven’t already, or would like to get to know other group members, please visit the member introduction forum on the website.
Here’s to looking to many more members and many more years of the club continuing to grow!
