Happy Friday! It’s hard to believe the week has gone by so quickly, at least it has for me, but maybe it’s due to trying to send out invites, go through photos from Sunday’s game and get ready to get back out and watch the Seahawks get after the Jets this weekend!
The Seahawks have a ton of tributes to the military set up throughout the game, so it’s going to be a special day for those of you who are able to make it. Unfortunately I know there are more than a few of you who’d like to go, but can’t make it with resale ticket prices running so high.
I know it doesn’t help for Sunday, but I talked to Lindsay with the Seahawks ticket office this week who is going to help us out with getting a section of discounted tickets for next year’s game. As long as we can get a group of 20 of us together, we will be able to work something out. So start thinking about next year!
If you can’t make it to the game, join us after the game at King Street Bar and Oven for our Veteran’s Day Celebration. Drop an RSVP to military.seahawkers@gmail.com or check in on the website to give us an idea of how many seats we might need.
Looking forward to seeing you at the game this weekend! GO HAWKS!!!

Seahawks vs. Jets on AFN Atlantic
Sorry, Sailors, it looks like you’ve been shut out again on Direct to Sailor. Maybe someone can email me to tell me if it’s truly the case, since it seems strange that AFN Pacific and AFN Atlantic have the exact same scheduled listed online. Thanks to those of you who continue to vote for the Seahawks for the AFN Game of the Week. I like to think that our efforts are at least showing there is enough interest in the Seahawks to get the game on AFN.
The Seahawks game against the Jets is scheduled to air at 1300 PT/2100 GMT on AFN Prime Atlantic. If you’re watching the game, snap a picture and send it along. We’ll post it on our website and forward it along to the Seahawks to share as well.
Please continue to vote for the AFN Game of the Week on Facebook starting Sunday night through Wednesday. Let me know if you have trouble with any of the links I send out.
