Russell Wilson’s strong performance against the Kansas City Chiefs on Friday was enough to earn the rookie the job as starting quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks.  The move was announced on the Seahawks website late Sunday evening.

The Seahawks also announced on Sunday the trade of Tarvaris Jackson to the Buffalo Bills.  Terms of the deal weren’t immediately released.
