The weekend is almost here, and there are plenty of events to help get you (and the team) fired up for Sunday’s playoff game in D.C. There may be more events coming, so be sure to follow our events page online or check the newsletter tomorrow night/Saturday morning. Here is what I know so far:
12th Man invited to send off Seahawks Friday
You can start your day at F.X. McRory’s in Seattle, just north of CenturyLink Field. KING 5’s Christie Johnson will be there for a 12th Man party, 6 a.m. – 9 a.m. The Sea Gals and Blue Thunder will be there, and there will be breakfast and drink specials.
Seattle Seahawks 12th MAN Sendoff
WHAT: The 12th MAN is invited to help send off the team to Washington DC from various locations on the team bus route to Sea‐Tac airport. The locations will be at Pan Abode near the VMAC practice facility, the Benson Ridge Road overpass in Renton, and in the Valley Ridge Road in Sea‐Tac . Fans will be given various Seahawks items (12th MAN Flags, Buttons, Bumper stickers) to wave to the team buses and various passer‐byers to show their 12th MAN spirit.
WHEN: Friday, January 4, 2013
2:20pm – 3:00pm (Team buses will leave Seahawks Headquarters at 2:30pm)
WHERE: Three locations:
1. Pan Abode (near N. 44th St., Renton, WA, 98056) Limited parking in area. Jessica Hancock lead at location
2. Benson Ridge Road(Renton City Hall will be in charge location)
3. Valley Ridge Park (4644 S. 188th St., SeaTac, WA, 98188)- Parking in the lot located off of 187th place. Armando Mejia and Paul Johns lead at location

FYI–Karen says the group generally meets at Penn Quarter Sports Tavern every gameday. So if you don’t have tickets to the game, that will be the place to watch on Sunday.
